Pond to carton

Fingerlings in, cartons out.

Export buyers receive a certificate of origin for a pond they never saw, and the feed and stocking records stay in the farm's notebook.

  1. Stock

Fingerlings are counted and the pond is logged.

  2. Feed

Feed is logged daily through the cycle.

  3. Harvest the pond

The pond is harvested and the yield is weighed.

  4. Seal the carton

The carton is sealed with its harvest code.

Each harvest is a record with its stocking date, feed log and yield, which the farm signs and the exporter then checks.
